Chester Anderson Robinson age 60 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, September 11, 2006 at his residence. He was born in Grayson County, Va. on November 27, 1945 to David Anderson and Lena Bryson Robinson. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife, Evangelist Sandra Robinson of Galax, Va.; a daughter and son-in-law, Daphane & Leon Woodbury of Mt. Airy, North Carolina, a son, Jamie Robinson of Galax, Va.; his mother and step-father, Lena & Charlie Maxwell of Galax, Va.; sister, Viola Brown of Pennsylvania and a brother and sister-in-law, Billy Ray & Wilma Robinson of Galax Va.. Three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews and a host of friends also survive. The funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Evangelist Gloria Richardson and Rev. Raymond Brown, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Goins Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
