Chester Lee Bobbitt, age 47, of Hillsville, VA, died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, VA.
Mr. Bobbitt was born April 5, 1964 in Logan, West Virginia.
Preceding him in death was his mother, Janice Rainwater and a brother, Kenn Bobbitt, Jr. Surviving are the following: sisters & brother-in-law, Bridgette & Stanley Brewer, Fries, VA; Kimberly Bobbitt, Fries, VA, Melissa Bobbitt, Richmond, Indiana; brothers, Rick Nunley, Detroit, Michigan, Mark Bobbitt, Hillsville, VA, Merle Bobbitt, Spring Hill, FL, Adam Bobbitt, Hillsville, VA. Several nieces & nephews, also, survive.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel, Galax, VA. The officiating minister will be Pastor Wonyal Smythers and visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service on Tuesday.
