Cherie Renee Toombs Dixon age 37 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, December 16,2018 at her home.

Cherie was born in Beckley, West Virginia on January 9,1981 to Jackie Lee Toombs, Jr. and Patricia Ann Ramsey.

In addition to her mother and step-father, Patricia and Junior Ramsey of Galax, Virginia, Cherie is survived by her children Abigail Bobbitt of Independence, Virginia; Chandler Dixon and Jayda Dixon both of Hillsville, Virginia; maternal grandmother Dorothy Clifford of Galax, Virginia; paternal grandmother Elizabeth Toombs of Mt. Hope, West Virginia; siblings and spouse Jack and Crystal Toombs of Beckley, West Virginia; Andrew Cole of Morgantown, West Virginia; Cameron Cole of Galax, Virginia; Heaven Toombs; Angel Toombs; Skyler Toombs; Orlando Toombs and Ethan Toombs all of Beckley, West Virginia; step-siblings Shyanne Byrd and Wesley Ramsey both of Texas.

The funeral service will be held Thursday at 6:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Pickett officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.

After the funeral service Cherie's body will be cremated.
