Charlie Alexander Shupe age 64 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday night, August 31,2006 at Twin County Regional Hospital. He was born in Grayson County, Va. on January 10, 1942 to the late William Hurley and Euna Pauline Anders Shupe. He is survived by his wife Deloris Ann Shupe of Galax, Va.; daughter Julie Marcella Shupe of Independence, Va.; two sons, Charles Kim Shupe of Max Meadows, Va. and Christopher Shawn Shupe of Galax, Va.; a brother, Tony Shupe of North Carolina; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside service will be held Sunday, September 3, 2006 at 3:00 PM in Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Baywood with Rev. Bobby Akers and Rev. Greg Goodson officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM at Vaughan-Guynn Fuenral Home.
