Charlie Green Roberson's Obituary
Charlie Green Roberson, age 81, of Galax, VA, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2010 at the Golden Living Center-Blue Ridge in Galax, VA.
Mr. Roberson was born in Patrick County, VA to Lafayette S. and Minnie Slate Roberson, April 4, 1929.
He is survived by his wife, Opalene Roberson, Galax, VA; sons and daughter-in-law, Doug & Jane Roberson, Dumfries, VA, Paul Roberson and David Roberson both of Galax; daughter, Patricia Kim Roberson, Danville, VA; grandchildren; Stephen Elliott Roberson of Dumfries, VA and Audra Lynn Roberson of New York City, NY; brother, Jack Roberson of Suffolk, VA; sister, Margaret Hasty, Goldsboro, NC.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM in Felts Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Randy Morris officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by Hillsville VFW Post 1115. The family will receive friends Thursday morning at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home from 9:45 until 10:45.
