Charlie Junior Osborne age 78 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Osborne was born on July 22, 1933 in Grayson County, Virginia to Charlie Marshall and Ora Anders Osborne.
He is survived by his wife Eula Faye Moxley Osborne of Galax, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Sheila and Kenny Poston of Chilhowie, Virginia; sons and daughters-in-law Doug and Sheila Osborne; Don and Patricia Osborne all of Galax, Virginia; Dwight and Carmen Osborne of Woodlawn, Virginia; grandchildren and spouse Shannon and Derek Rhea; Kristen Osborne; Landon Osborne; Lauren Osborne; Aaron Osborne and Sydney Osborne; great-grandchild Peyton Rhea; sister Marie Lyons of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the old Hillcrest Baptist Church with Rev. James Cowley and Elder Herbert Rutherford officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Baywood. The family will receive friends Friday night from seven until nine at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Flowers will be appreciated or donations may be made to the Hillcrest Baptist Church Building Fund or to the Mt. Olivet Cemetery Fund.
