Charlie "Mike" Michael Mabe age 55 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, March 6, 2015 in the VA Medical Center in Salem, Virginia.
Mike was born in Carroll County, Virginia on January 16, 1960 to Charlie and Betty Sue Bobbitt Mabe. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a brother Mark Mabe.
Mike served his county in the US Army. He was a loving father, son and brother. He loved fishing, hunting, animals and Dale Earnhardt.
He is survived by his mother Betty Sue Bobbitt Mabe of Galax, Virginia; daughter Micheala Mabe of Tallahassee, Florida; wife Jacki Mabe of Tallahassee, Florida; sister and brother-in-law Susan and Joseph Beck of King, North Carolina; brother Tim Mabe of Woodlawn, Virginia.
There will be a private family service at a later date. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to either the Twin County Hospice, P.O. Box 106 Galax, Virginia or to the Galax Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 2308, Galax, Virginia 24333.
