Charles Pierce Stoneman, Jr. age 48 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, June 12,2017 in Galax, Virginia.
Charles was born in Galax, Virginia on April 12, 1969 to Charles Pierce and Martha Jean Harrison Stoneman, Sr.. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a nephew Joseph Stoneman.
He is survived by two daughters Brittani Stoneman and Brandi Stoneman both of Fries, Virginia; three step-daughters Shannen Hawks, Ashley Smith and Rosemary Hawks all of Galax, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Rachel and Barry Stuart of Stoneville, North Carolina; grandmother Opal Bedsaul of Galax, Virginia; an aunt Janet Payne of Galax, Virginia; step-grandchildren Josh Smith and Landon Smith; nephews Charles Stuart and Josh Stuart of Stoneville, North Carolina; ex-wife Mary Stoneman.
A memorial service will be held Friday, June 16, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor David Cox officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 PM until time for the service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
