Charles Sonny "Dean" Robinson age 61 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 at his home.
Dean was born in Galax, Virginia on January 7, 1953 to Charles Ballard and Jessie Linville Robinson.
In addition to his father Ballard Robinson of Galax, Virginia he is survived by his wife Ellen Faye Robinson; daughters and sons-in-law Lisa and Wayne Lineberry; Charlotte and Michael Hampton; sons Charles Wayne Robinson; Kevin Robinson; sister and brother-in-law Lois and Larry Phillips; brother David Robinson all of Galax, Virginia; step-son Buddy Long of Ivanhoe, Virginia; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Cemetery with Brother Max Combs officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to Willing Partners.
