Charles Linnie Maxwell age 72 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Saturday September 9, 2023 in the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.

Charles was born on November 30, 1950 in Filbert, West Virginia to Raymond and Elizabeth Gertrude Hash Maxwell.

He proudly served his country in the US Army.

He is survived by his wife Jacklene Maxwell of Woodlawn, Virginia; sister Rita Tucker of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; brother and sister-in-law Marvin and Daphne Maxwell of Junction City, Kansas; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel. With Pastor Daryl Beamer officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bethany Community Cemetery with Military Rites by the VFW Post1115. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
