Charles Lee Lawson, age 70, of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday January 3, 2025 in Waddell Nursing and Rehab.

Charles was born on January 16, 1954 in Galax, Virginia to the late Carl Lee Lawson and Lorita Richardson Lawson. He was also preceded in death by his wife Rebecca Fayne Lawson; and grandson Nathaniel Jacob.

He is survived by his daughter Angela Marie Holderfield; sisters Shirley Alford, Judy Elliott, and Peggy Shaffer; brothers Eric Allen Lawson and James Carl Lawson; granddaughter Ivy Marie Lawson, and several others.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday January 8, 2025 at 11:00AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Robbie Vance officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland cemetery. There is no visitation.
