Charles Payne Hodge age 80 of Woodlawn, Va. passed away Thursday, November 8, 2007 at his home. Mr. Hodge was born in Grayson County, Va. on July 8, 1927 to Robert & Molly Robinson Hodge. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Lois Riggins Hodge, sister Elizabeth Hackler and brother Cecil Hodge. He is survived by daughters Janice Payne of Sterling, Va.; Beverly Winn of LaPlata, Maryland; sons Robert Douglas Hodge of King George, Va.; Charles Alan Hodge of Mechanicsville, Md.; Jody Hodge of Hagerstown, Md.; David Hodge of Bowie, Md.; sister Orpha Blevins of Woodlawn, Va.; brother Wesley Hodge of Mexico; sixteen grandchildren and several great-grandchidlren. The funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Ben Haga officiating. Burial will follow in George Washington Cemetery. in Adelphi, Maryland. The family will receive friends Saturday from one until two at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
