Charles Henry (Deacon) Pack  age  92 of Fries, Virginia passed away Wednesday, December 5,  2018 in the Grayson Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mr. Pack was born in Wythe County, Virginia on December 11, 1925 to French and Annie Spraker Pack. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Alberta Pack; siblings June Pack, Shirley Wade, Rachel Pack and Harold Pack.

He proudly served our country in the US Navy.

He is survived by his wife Ruth Durham Pack of Fries, Virginia; step –sons and spouse Ricky and Cindy Durham; Mike Durham and Freddie Durham, one brother Kenneth Pack of Wytheville, Virginia; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM in the Fries Cemetery with the Rev. Ben Haga officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
