Charles Wayne Goodson, age 41, of Galax, VA died Friday, Sept. 5, 2014.
Mr. Goodson was born Jan. 11, 1973 in Carroll County, VA to Willard and Madeline Goodson.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Goodson, Galax, VA; daughter, Hannah Goodson, Hillsville, VA; step-daughters, Andrianna Anderson, Galax, VA; Kayla Caballera, Galax, VA; parents, Willard & Madeline Goodson,Galax, VA; step-grandson, Blake Anderson, Galax, VA.
The funeral service will be held Monday, Sept. 8, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Oakland United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery, The body will lie in state for one hour preceding the funeral service at the church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014 at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home, Galax, VA. Officiating ministers will be the Rev. Jack Delp and the Rev. Larry Stone.
