Charles Edgar Boyer's Obituary
Charles Edgar Boyer age 78 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, March 4, 2011 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mr. Boyer was born on February 5, 1933 in Virginia to Crockett Smith Boyer and Florence Poe Boyer.
He is survived by his wife Pauline Frances Boyer of Galax, Virginia; daughter Donna Gail Burnette of Galax, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Dennis and Tina Boyer of Austinville, Virginia; grandchildren Kari Boyer; Daniel; Boyer and Tristan Burnette; sisters-in-law Wilma Moore of Graham, North Carolina; Helen Coffey of Spartanburg, South Carolina; brothers-in-law Earnest Junior Thomason and Paul Hill both of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, March 6, 2011 in the Bishops Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Jimmy Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until service time at the church.
