Chadlee Graham Funk of Murfreesboro, Tennessee formerly of Galax, Virginia
passed away on November 9, 2021.

Chad was born August 29, 1979 to Ralph Lee and Linda Kay Funk. He graduated
from Carroll County High School and attended several universities in both Virginia
and Tennessee. His love for history and the outdoors took him to many
reenactments across Virginia and Tennessee and earned him set extras in several
movies. He was an avid Boy Scout attaining eagle scout rank and led a summer
program at Camp Powatan that he developed called Voyager Trek for twenty
years. He was married to Jenifer Dillman-Funk and they had two daughters,
Anastasia Funk and Abi Funk. He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and
Linda Funk; maternal grandparents, Orbin and Delta Burcham; paternal
grandfather, Foster Funk; and uncle, Perry Burcham.

He is survived by his wife Jenifer; 2 daughters, Anastasia and Abi; a sister, Lindsay Edwards; her husband
Anthony Edwards; 2 nephews, Aiden Edwards and Ezra Edwards; stepmother,
Jeanette Haunn and husband Basil Haunn; mother-in-law, Bobbie Dillman;
brother-in-law John Dillman; paternal grandmother, Verla Roten and her husband
Sam Roten. Also surviving are several special aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be held at Vaughn Guynn Funeral Home in Galax, Virginia with visitation on
Monday evening from 6-7pm and Funeral on Tuesday at 11am with interment to
follow at Crooked Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Woodlawn, Virginia. In lieu of
flowers, donations may be made to Boy Scout Troop 810, in care of Bridgett
Hamm, 1867 Water Plant Rd, Hillsville, VA 24343.
