Chad Lee Kirby age 35 of Galax, Va. passed away Thursday, July 19, 2007 in North Carolina Baptist Hospital. Chad was born on May 11, 1972 in Galax, Va. to Curtis Michael & Myra Montgomery Kirby. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Curtis Kirby and his maternal grandfather Dean Montgomery. In addition to his parents he is survived by two sons Dylan Kirby & Austin Kirby; a sister & brother-in-law Tracy & Dustin Snow of Galax, Va.; maternal grandmother Wilma Showalter of Galax, Va.; paternal grandmother & step-grandfather Sylvia & Pete Killon of Galax, Va.; great-grandmother Hallie Cox of Galax, Va.; one nephew and several aunts & uncles. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 21, 2007 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Vale United Methodist Church with Rev. Rick Lindamood officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from eleven am until one pm before the memorial service at Mt. Vale United Methodist Church.
