Catherine Ruth Dillon's Obituary
Catherine Ruth Dillon age 80 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, April 15, 2013 in the Golden Living-Blue Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center.
Mrs. Dillon was born in Carroll County, Virginia on June 26, 1932 to Henry and Sylvia Jones Lawson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Dillon.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Pam and Wayne Hall of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren Crystal Martin and C.J. Martin; great-grandchildren Taryn Childress; Dylan Martin and Ryder Martin; brother and sister-in-law Tommy and Kevin Lawson of Delaware; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Myron Dalton officiating. Burial will follow in the McKenzie Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
