Carroll Gene Caldwell age 69 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, November 15, 2010 in the Forsyth Medical Center.
Gene was born on November 5, 1941 in Carroll County, Virginia to Lennie and Mellie Lundy Caldwell.
He is survived by his wife Jo Ella Caldwell; daughters and son-in-law Donna and Ernie Anderson; Amy Caldwell; sons Steven Caldwell and Terry Caldwell all of Galax, Virginia; sisters and brothers-in-law Mary and Warren Reavis of Woodlawn, Virginia; Ruby and Otis Stuart of Galax, Virginia; brother Bobby Caldwell of Galax, Virginia; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Felts Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Harvey Carico officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
