Carolyn Sue Brown age 78 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Thursday September 16, 2021 at her home.

Sue was born in Wilkesboro, North Carolina on June 29, 1943 to Otis Thurman and Vetra Foltz Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ted Ray Brown; great-granddaughter Salem Grace Carrico; sisters Jane Collins; Linda Quesenberry and Reva Burnelle Lowe; brothers Sonny Wiliams and Thurman Williams.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Donna and John Campbell of Independence, Virginia; Tracy and Chad Sikes of Woodlawn, Virginia; grandchildren and spouse Taylor and Mitchell Lewis; Brittany and Dereck Surface; Tori and Tyler Carrico; Colin Campbell and Ty Sikes; great-grandchildren Charlie; Iver; Jackson and Jesse; sister Bernice Padgett of Woodlawn, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law Carney and Kay Williams of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (at Cranberry) Fund, C/O Gary Worrell, 3633 Cranberry Road, Woodlawn, Virginia 24381.
