Carolyn J. Frank age 69 of Fries, Virginia passed away Friday, July 2, 2010 at her home.
Carolyn was born on October 14, 1940 in Carroll County, Virginia to Grady Otto and Virginia McMillian Shaffner.
She is survived by her husband William J. Frank; daughter and son-in-law Pamela and Randy Taylor all of Fries, Virginia; grandchildren and spouses Amy and Kevin Davis; April and Jason Burcham; great-granddaughters Jordan Taylor; Mikayla Davis and Haley Davis; sisters Shirley Dowling and Mary Goodson both of Galax, Virginia; brother Ronnie Shaffner of Fries, Virginia.; sister-in-law Wilma Frank of Galax, Virginia.
The funeral service will be Sunday, July 4, 2010 at 2:00 pm in Mt. Hope United Methodist Church with Rev. Matt Linkous and Rev. Bob Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from one until service time at the church.
