Carolyn Sue Anders, age 73, of Fayetteville, North Carolina passed away Friday February 5, 2021 in Magnolia Gardens Assisted Living.

Mrs. Anders was born in Wytheville, Virginia on December 2, 1947 to the late Rudell and Eunice Shinualt Kegley.

She is survived by her husband Wayne Anders; daughters Karen Tarleton and Debbie Barto; grandchildren Brandon Spengel, Ashley Stallings, Zachari Wall, Devanee Wall, Nolan Barto; and great grandchildren Caleb Spengel, Jacob Stallings, Lucas Stallings, and Brently Jordan.

Carolyn Anders was a minister for thirty-three years. She was a loyal member of Rivers of Living Waters Church in Fayetteville, North Carolina where she received her doctorate degree in Divinity through Christian Life School of Theology. She had a heart for the sick and the hurting and ministered in four different nursing homes for twelve years. She held revivals at the Robeson County Jail for 20 years and was recognized by the correctional system for her volunteer work there. She organized many Vacation Bible School events and was a director of Children's Church. She accompanied her husband, Wayne Anders, to minister to people through Blog Talk Radio. In addition, she spoke at many women's conferences and enjoyed having Bible Study groups in her home. Going to Israel was one of the highlights of her life! Most of all, Carolyn Anders was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend that will always be remembered! She brought so much joy to those around her. She is never really gone, just gone to be with Jesus!

The family would like to give special thanks to all the Caregivers at Magnolia Gardens, and also all the staff at Liberty Hospice.
