Carolee Dickson Williams age 72 of Independence, Virginia passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012 at her home.
Mrs. Williams was born on February 10, 1940 in Abingdon, Virginia to Joseph R and Laura Mae Heninger Dickson.
She is survived by her husband Robert E. (Bob) Williams of Independence, Virginia; daughters and sons-in-law Resa & Steve Nichols of Woodlawn, Virginia; Karen and Chris Porter of Hillsville, Va.; Kristin & Larry Brown of Richmond, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Tim & Melissa Williams of Independence, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law William (Sam) & Rachel Dickson of Galax, Virginia; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; one niece and one nephew.
The funeral service will be Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 7:00 PM in the First Assembly of God with Pastor Angie Lineberry officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:30 PM until time for the service at the church. Interment will be Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the Fairlawn Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Mt. Valley Hospice.
