Carol June Baumgardner's Obituary
Carol June Baumgardner, age 65, of Fries, VA passed away Friday October 5, 2007 at the Twin County Regional Hospital, Galax. Mrs. Baumgardner was born August 24, 1942 in Galax, VA to Loffie Jirl & Elsie Juniemay Bartlett Thompson.
She is survived by her husband, John W. Baumgardner of the home; two daughters, Karen Baumgardner of Fries and Sherry Baumgardner of Galax; one son & daughter-in-law: John Wayne Baumgardner, Jr. & Tammy K. of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina; three grandchildren: Tashina Bumgardner of Galax, Adam Baumgardner of Fries, and Kandi Baumgardner of North Wilkesboro, NC; two sisters: Edna Custer of Galax and Greydell Baker of Pilot Mountain, North Carolina. Several Nieces & nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7 until 9 pm at Vaughan-Guynn. The funeral service will be held Sunday, at 3:30 PM at the Camp Zion Church, Galax, VA with the Rev. Jimmy Young officiating.
Interment will follow in the Baumgardner Family Cemetery.
