Carl Columbus Burcham age 76 of Woodlawn, Va. passed away Monday, May 5,2008 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Burcham was born in Carroll County, Va. on May 26, 1931 to Guy & Ora Williams Burcham. He is survived by his wife Margaret Burcham of Woodlawn, Va.; daughters Mary Ladonna Faw & Susan Raye Carpenter of Purlear, N.C.; Lisa Dianne Woody of McGrady, N.C.; Melissa Ronnotta Church of Millers Creek, N.C.; Danaka Renee Parker of Woodlawn, Va.; sons Ricky Earl Dixon & Michael Eugene Dixon both of Wilkesboro, N.C.; Terry Richard Dixon of Millers Creek, N.C.; sisters Iva Lisenby of Louisiana; Edna Kalstrom of Roanoke, Va.; Melva Lou East of Mt. Airy, N.C.; brothers Clyde Burcham of Woodlawn, Va.; Boyd Burcham of Lexington, N.C.; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Middle Fork Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Roark and Rev. Kenny Absher officiating. Burial will follow in the Walls Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
