Carl Yost Anderson, age 96, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018 at his home. Mr. Anderson was born March 14, 1922 in Mannington, West Virginia to the late Thomas and Nora Belle Anderson.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives Ethel Loraine Anderson (mother of his children) and Martha Porter Anderson, son Harry Ray Anderson and two sisters and one brother.

He is survived by two daughters and son-in-law: Erma Rosso and Mike of Galax, Virginia, Deborah Lynn Burns of Arcadia, Florida; two sons and daughter-in-law Titus Anderson and Sharon of Woodlawn, Virginia; Carl M. Anderson and Liz King of Fairmont, West Virginia; eight (8) grandchildren, twenty-two (22) great grandchildren and two (2) great-great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday June 13, 2018 at 7:00 PM in the Galax Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Titus Ray Anderson and Bishop Jerry Schall officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until service time at the church.

Committal services and interment will be held Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery, Mannington, West Virginia. Military rites will be conducted at the graveside.
