Candace Sharon Kay Reese age 35 of Independence, Virginia passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at her home.

Candace was born on November 26, 1988 in Cleveland, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by a sister Amy Devon Reece; her grandparents Sharon Kay Hayes and Michael Darrell Reese;

She is survived by her mom and dad Norma and Terry Musick of Galax, Virginia children Kyran Reese; Levi Spurlin; and twins Matthew Joseph and Makinzy Joseph all of Sparta North Carolina; sister and brother- in-law Kayla and Logan Robinson  of Independence, Virginia; brothers and  sister-in-law Randy Reese of Sparta, North Carolina; Austin and Kelly Musick of Ennice, North Carolina; half-sister Nichole King; half-brother Randy King III of Cleveland, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; special friends Kimberly Shupe and Jill Gambill..

The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev Richard Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
