Callie R Sumner's Obituary
Callie R. Sumner, age 82, passed away July 20, 2016 in the Waddell Nursing Home, Galax, Virginia.
She was born February 24, 1934 in Rockingham County, North Carolina to the late Clarence Roland and Lillian Curry Roland. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harrison Sumner.
Mrs. Sumner is survived by her sister Betty Dixon of Hickory, North Carolina; brother-in-law and wife: Bill and Dorothy Sumner of Floyd, Virginia; Sisters-in-laws and brother-in-law: Gloria Bonham of Fries, Virginia; Wanda and Allen Goodson of Fries, Virginia; special friends and caregivers Angie Williams and Trina Lineberry. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
A graveside service will be held Friday July 22, 2016 at 11:00 at the Felts Cemetery with Rev. Wendell Horton officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
