C. E. "Buster" Fitzgerald's Obituary
C. E. "Buster" Fitzgerald of Galax, Virginia, age 71, passed away Friday, July 18, 2014 at Forsyth Memorial Hospital, Winston-Salem, NC. He was born August 10, 1942 to the late John Henry Malcolm Fitzgerald and Emma Fields Fitzgerald. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Fitzgerald was a long time member of the Baywood Wesleyan Church and retired after many years of service with the Virginia Department of Transportation.
He is survived by his wife Louise Fitzgerald of the home; two daughters Diane Wilson and husband David of Galax,Virginia and Shelia Larrowe of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren Isaac Larrowe and wife Ashley of Winston-Salem, NC; Cory Wilson and wife Anais of Columbia, South Carolina: Haley Larrowe and Molly Wilson of Galax, Virginia; great granddaughter Mia Grace Wright; brother Rev. Harold Fitzgerald of Sandy Ridge, North Carolina. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 20, 2014 at 3:00 PM in the Baywood Wesleyan Church with Pastor Barry Miller and Pastor Rodney Christman officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until time for the service at the church.
