Burgess Aaron Lineberry age 84 of Hillsville, Virginia passed away Friday, December 26, 2008 in Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Lineberry was born in Carroll County, Va. on August 7, 1924 to Ernest & Orpha Jennings Lineberry. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mae Flora Lineberry. He is survived by his children & spouses Lahoma Bartley of Thomasville, N.C.; Carolyn Martin of Chester, Va.; Christine Annas of Galax, Va.; Judy & Joe David Horton of Woodlawn, Va.; Joseph A. (Tim) Lineberry of Hillsville, Va.; Mitchell & Melissa Lineberry of Austinville, Va.; sister & brother-in-law Nina & Ray Sizemore of Woodlawn, Va.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; step-daughter Ella Mae Tompkins of Hillsville, Va.; one step-granddaughter and a special friend Viola J. Tompkins. A graveside service will be held Sunday, December 28, 2008 at 3:30 pm in the Harmon-Lineberry-Robinson Cemetery with Shawn Carter, Billy Burnette and Belford Bryant officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday night from 6:00 until 8:00 and Sunday afternoon from 1:30 until 2:30 at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
