Rev. Buren Littreal age 97 of Madisonville, Tennessee passed Thursday, June 4, 2009 at his home.
Rev. Littreal was born on October 29, 1911 in Brush Creek, Virginia to John Fleming & Eva Lora Littreal. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters Willa Mae Mascas and Mary Lyons; brothers Bill, Thurmond, Charlie and Elmer Littreal.
He is survived by his wife of 75 years Beatrice Littreal of Madisonville, Tennessee; daughter & son-in-law Louise Littreal & Ronald Jones of Thurmond, N.C.; son & daughter-in-law Carroll Dean & Wanda Littreal of Madison, N.C.;
five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 6,2009 at 3:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Sammy Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1:30 until 3:00 at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Mt. Hope Cemetery Fund C/O Warren Johnson 223 Winterberry Road, Galax, Va. 24333.
