Brooks Emmet Bedsaul's Obituary
Brooks Emmet Bedsaul age 83 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016 in the Golden Living-Blue Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center.
Mr. Bedsaul was born on March 26, 1933 in Barren Springs, Virginia to Emmet and Hallie Nester Bedsaul. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Virginia Goings and three brothers Gilmer Bedsaul, Jeff Bedsaul and Curtis Bedsaul.
He proudly served his country in the US Army.
He is survived by his wife Rachel Opal Bedsaul of Galax, Virginia; children and spouses Linda McGee; Emma and Joe Walbroehl; Marvin and Penny Bedsaul; Melissa and Mark Davis; Michael Bedsaul and William "Billy" Bedsaul; sister Ann Dalton; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 3:00 PM in the Camp Zion Cemetery with the Rev. James Billings and Pastor James Cowley officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
