Brenda Bedsaul Mitchell age 74 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025 in the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.

Brenda was born in Galax, Virginia on February 10, 1951 to Robert Wayne and Ethel Roberts Bedsaul. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters Wilma Ayers and Linda Fender and a brother Bobby Bedsaul.

She is survived by her husband Robert Mitchell; son and daughter-in-law Chris and Dana Sayers all of Galax, Virginia; sister Tiny Poole of Ennice, North Carolina; brother Larry Wayne Bedsaul of Asheboro North Carolina; two grandchildren Sydney Sayers and Grant Sayers.

A graveside service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Mt. Vale Cemetery with Elder Greg Hawks officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers and food the family request donations be made to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105 or the Woltz Hospice Home 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, North Carolina 27017.
