Brenda Kaye Reeves known as Kaye Reeves age 64 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday May 2, 2023 at her home.

Kaye was born in Roanoke, Virginia on August 5, 1958 to Clarence Dempsey (Jack) and Joyce Evelyn Waddell Hanks.

She is survived by her daughter Erika Reeves of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; son Eli Reeves and Angel Frazier of Galax, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Linda and Dennis Anthony of Lexington, North Carolina; brother and sister-in-law Michael and Vickie Hanks of Christiansburg, Virginia; one grandchild Nalah Reeves; one nephew Morgan Hanks; one great-niece Nicole Hanks and several cousins.

The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. Burial will be private for the family in the Oakland Cemetery.
