Brenda Marlene Anders Goodson age 72 of Fries, Virginia passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Brenda was born in Grayson County, Virginia on January 17, 1944 to Elbert and Sally Jane Johnson Anders, Sr..
She is survived by her husband Ralph Ondra Goodson of Fries, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Bobby Phil and Vickey Goodson of Fries, Virginia; grandchildren and spouses Phillip and Tina Goodson; Adam and Dawn Goodson; Michael Paul Goodson; two great-grandchildren; sisters Thelma Logene Miller of Fries, Virginia; Peggy Douglas of Salem, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law Rev. Ted and Shirley Anders of Bland, Virginia; several special nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 3:00 PM in the Grace Baptist Church with the Rev. Ben Haga, the Rev. Ted Anders, the Rev. Camet Spivey and Mike Hackler officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Fries, Va.. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral at the Grace Baptist Church.
