Brenda K. Goodson Farmer age 70 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, June 2, 2025 in the Forsyth Medical Center.

Brenda was born on November 19, 1954 in Galax, Virginia to Clarence Tilton and Marie Alice Liddle Goodson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters Judy Mae Goodson Cox and Sherry Lynn Goodson.

She is survived by her son and his partner Stacy Keith Hodges and Russell Holcombe of Greer, South Carolina; one niece and husband Shannon and Alan Funk of Galax, Virginia; one nephew C. Allen Hodges;  one great-nephew and wife Elijah and Kaitlyn Funk..

A private family graveside service will be held  in the Fishers Gap Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
