BRENDA DARLENE BURCHETT McNAMEE, AGE 68, OF FRIES, VA passed away Friday, July 1, 2011. She was born on March 4, 1943, daughter of the late Fred & Madeline Burchett. She was preceded in death by her brother, Swanson Perry Burchett; grandparents, Thomas and Hallie Goodson; William and Phyllis Burchett, nephew Kerry Dru Burchett. She was a member of the Galax Church of God of Prophecy and retired medical records specialist from Prince William Hospital in Manassas, Virginia.

She is survived by her husband: Robert Vincent McNamee, Fries, VA; daughter Regina Celeste McNamee, Fries, VA; son & daughter-in-law: Robert Lance & Yenny McNamee of Oakton, VA; grandchildren: Kayla & Nathan Lara; Brenna & Liam McNamee
Sisters & brothers-in-law: Treva Burchett of Ivanhoe; Patty & Leroy Sayers of Ivanhoe; Carol & Mike Williams of Independence; Frieda Bralley of Wytheville; Myra & Ronald Blair of Ivanhoe; brothers & sisters-in-law: Bill Burchett of Ivanhoe; Kermel & Mildred Burchett, James & Ollie Burchett, Milton Scarlett Burchett; Bernard & Francis Burchett all of Richmond, VA; Douglas & Emma Burchett of Austinville; Jerry & Mary Ann Burchett of Ivanhoe; and Alice Burchett of Myrtle Beach, SC. Also surviving is special niece and caregiver, Julia Baltazar; several other nieces & nephews; sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Judy & Roger Morris; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Dennis & Virginia McNamee.

The Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 4, 2011 at the Reese Funeral Chapel with Reverend Titus Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home or at the residence of sister, Treva Burchett at any time. Reese Funeral Home, Austinville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
