Brenda Gale Baker age 68 of Ivanhoe, Virginia passed away Sunday April 9, 2017 in the Wythe County Community Hospital.
Brenda was born in Carroll County, Virginia on April 20, 1948 to Harold E. and Gladys Pearman Barker.
She is survived by her significant other Robert Mitchell of Rural Retreat, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Jerrianne Baker and Thomas L. Smith of Reidsville, North Carolina; son and daughter-in-law Jason D. and Geraldine Baker of Ivanhoe, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Jean and Jimmy Smith of Benton, Kentucky; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM at 7960 Ivanhoe Road, Ivanhoe, Virginia with the Rev. Judy Yonce officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
