Brandee Dawn Porter age 40 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, September 19, 2025 at her home.

Brandee was born in Wilmington, North Carolina on February 14, 1985 to John David Porter, Jr. and Evelyn Lawson Porter Hancock.

She was preceded in death by her sister Melonie Porter; grandparents John D. Porter, Sr, and Pat Porter; aunt Terry Porter Locklear.

She is survived by her father John David Porter, Jr.; mother Evelyn Hancock; daughter Heartlee Sikes; son Kason Porter; brother John Porter III; aunt and uncle Christina and Tommy Webb; uncle Steve Porter; special cousin Amanda Locklear; several cousins and nieces.

There will be no services held for Brandee at this time.
