Bonnie Sue Mayes' Obituary
Bonnie Sue Mayes age 50 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012 in the Northern Hospital of Surry County.
Bonnie was born in Maryland on February 15, 1961 to Clyde Wesley and Esther Jones Caudell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Eva Darlene Johnson.
She is survived by her son Corrie Mclain of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; step-father Ronald Young of Galax, Virginia; sisters Clara Jean Caudell, Barbara Brown & husband Scottie, Christy Young all of Galax, Virginia; Patricia Nixon of Pulaski, Virginia; brothers Michael Blackburn and Jimmy Blackburn both of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Monday, January 30, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Chaplain Kevin Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Coal Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
