Bonnie Norris Lyons age 78 of Hillsville, Virginia passed away Wednesday, January 6,2010 at Waddell Nursing Home.

Ms. Lyons was born on August 22,1931 in Carroll County, Va. to Wiley & Ada Melton Lyons. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a special brother-in-law Joe Givens and special nephew Joe David Givens.

She is survived by her sisters & brother-in-law Kathleen Givens of Kerrville, Texas; Beulah & Keith Bryant of Austinville, Va.; brother & sister-in-law Donald & Hazel Lyons of Hillsville, Va.; five nieces & nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 1:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Neil Eidson officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive freinds Saturday from 12:00 until 1:00 pm at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Prime Timers at Victory Way Baptist Church or Twin County Hospice.
