Bonnie Gayle Hill age 80 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018 in the Forsyth Medical Center.
Mrs. Hill was born on September 24, 1937 in Carroll County, Virginia to Glen and Mary Isom Vaughn.
She is survived by her husband Foy Hill of Galax, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Connie and Mark Horton; son and daughter-in-law Ronnie and Julie Hill all of Pilot Mountain, North Carolina; grandchildren and spouses Erin and Brandon Grant; Brian and Katie Hill, Sarah and Kyle Shinault; Luke Horton; great-grandchildren Rylee Grant and Connor Claxton; sister and brother-in-law Betty Jo and Bruce Mabe of Woodlawn, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Friday at 4:00 PM in the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church with the Rev. Terri Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 2:30 PM until time for the funeral service at the church. The family respectfully request in lieu of flowers donations be made to the charity of the donor's choice or the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church.
