Bonnie Lozella Cox Ayers' Obituary
Bonnie Lozella Cox Ayers age 78 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2013 in the Forsyth Medical Center.
Mrs. Ayers was born in Carroll County, Virginia on July 11, 1935 to Virgil Barnett and Rosa Elizabeth Landreth Cox. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband George W. Ayers; sister Velma Cox and brother Rennie Cox.
She is survived by her sisters Betty Cox and Nellrena Gonzalez both of Galax, Virginia; Wilma Boyd of Dublin, Virginia; brother Everett Cox of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; special friend Ruth Leonard.
The funeral service will be held Friday, July 19, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Mt. Pisgah Church of Christ with Marvin Williams, Lawrence Warden and Danny Petty officiating. Burial will follow in the River Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from six until eight at the Mt. Pisgah Church of Christ. Friends may call anytime at the home of Joaquin and Debbie Millan, 434 River Hill Road, Galax, Virginia.
