Bonnie Leigh Moore Pickett Bircham age 80 of Fries, Virginia passed away Tuesday September 14, 2021 at her home.

Mrs. Bircham was born in Wytheville, Virginia on September 22, 1940 to Clinton Hunter and Edna Stoneman Moore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harry Bircham and son Clark Hunter Pickett.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law Tina Davis Pickett of Fries, Virginia; grandson and wife Clint Pickett and Courtney of North Carolina; granddaughter and husband Marquita Pickett Amburgey and Wayne of Galax, Virginia; five great-grandchildren Abriella Amburgey; Jordan Taylor, Cole Pickett, Chloe Pickett, Sedrick Pickett; an aunt and uncle Linda and Danny Johnson of Cleveland, Ohio; cousins Charles Smith and Family; Deb May and Family; Buddy Moore and Family; special caregiver Kendra Long.

A graveside service will be held Sunday at 3:00 PM in the Monta Vista Cemetery with Greg Carico officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home, however; friends may call at the home of Marquita and Wayne Amburgey, 906 Windmill Road, Galax, Virginia.
