Bobby Joe Pickett, age 77, of Wytheville, Virginia passed away Friday January 26, 2024 in Lewis Gale Montgomery Hospital.

Bobby Joe was born on March 4, 1946 in Fries, Virginia to the late Eldridge Clark and Shirley Hill Pickett. He was also preceded in death by his sister Betty Sexton and brother E.C. Pickett Jr.

He is survived by his daughter Amanda Jo Pickett of Wytheville, Virginia; sister Nancy Hawks of Fries, Virginia; brother Frank Pickett of Pulaski, Virginia; best friend Victor Bonham; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bobby Joe was a member of the Lynn Commandery Masonic Lodge.

The memorial service will be held Saturday February 3, 2024 at 12:00PM in the First Christian Church with Rev. Glen Sage officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 PM until the time of service.
