Bobby Dale Patton age 75 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson,

North Carolina.

Bobby was born in Grayson County, Virginia on November 4, 1942 to Ray and Alma Williams Patton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Wayne Douglas Patton; Raymond Patton; Billy Patton; Herman Patton and sister Hazel Patton.

He is survived by his wife Loree Patton of Galax, Virginia; daughters and son-in-law Leesa and Michael Gayheart; Sheila Roberts all of Galax, Virginia; six grandchildren Cole Morris; Michaela Roberts; Trevor Roberts; Hannah Rose, Angel Gayheart and Emma Gayheart; two great-grandsons D'mitri Sikes and Ryland Sikes; brother and sister-in-law Roger and Lovie Patton of Galax, Virginia; sister Dottie Vaughan of Galax, Virginia ; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with  Mr. Mictchell Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery with Military Rites by the Grayson VFW Post 7726.The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
