Bobby Lee Newman age 50 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012 in the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.
Bobby was born in Virginia on July 15,1961 to Archie and Rosa Lee Tompkins Newman.
He is survived by his children and spouses Kristie and Kevin Hooven of Galax, Virginia; Cavin and Jennifer Newman of Independence, Virginia; Lucas Newman of Independence, Virginia; mother Rosa Lee Newman of Galax, Virginia; father Archie Newman of Woodlawn, Virginia; sister Tammy Newman of Woodlawn, Virginia; brothers and sister-in-law Billy and Wanda Newman; Gary Newman all of Galax, Virginia; Ronnie Newman of Woodlawn, Virginia; five grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew.
The funeral service will be held Friday, March 9,2012 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Jeff Pickett officiating. Burial will follow in the Harmon-Lineberry-Robinson Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
