Bobby Joe Clyburn age 43 of Fries, Va. passed away Sunday, September 24, 2006 at Twin County Regional Hospital. He was born on April 6, 1963 in Grayson County, Va. to Joe and Opal Marie Vaughan Clyburn. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Dunford Clyburn, son, Bobby Joe Clyburn, Jr.; his mother and step-father, Opal & Zelmer Sexton all of Fries, Va.; sister & brother-in-law, Nancy & Joe Leigh of Bassett, Va.; his brother & sister-in-law, Charlie & Mary Clyburn of Fries, Va.; step-sister, Edith Mae Thomason; step-brothers, Clifton Sexton, Roy Sexton and Virgil Sexton all of Fries, Va.; several nieces and nephews also survive. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at 2:00 PM in Fries Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Lacy King, Rev. Titus Anderson and Rev. Jeffrey Clyburn officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
