Bobby Bartlett age 77 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012 at his home.

Bobby was born on March 30, 1935 in Galax, Virginia to Eugene Clifton and Alma Boyer Bartlett. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Lynn Hackler and his sister Shirley Alderman.

He is survived by his wife Harriett Bartlett of Galax, Virginia; daughter Kim Hargrave of Galax, Virginia; sons and daughters-in-law Ben and Susie Bartlett of Galax, Virginia; Tim and Stephanie Bartlett of Quaker Hill, Connecticut; son-in-law and spouse Duane and Linda Hackler of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; step-daughter and spouse Rhonda and Brian Anders; step-sons and spouses Ray and Jenny Coleman, Robin and Susie Coleman, Rene and Dee Coleman, Randall and Eva Coleman,Rhett and Raetta Colema, Ryan and Brenda Coleman all of Dillon, South Carolina; nineteen step-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Friday, April 6. 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
