Bobbie Rex Jones age 64 of Fries, Virginia passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at the Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Bobbie was born in Fries, Virginia on February 25, 1954 to Everett and Annie Mae Stanley Jones. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Charlotte Frazier Jones on Monday, July 2 ^nd .

He proudly served his country in the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran.

He is survived by sisters and brothers-in-law Violet Akers of Marion, South Carolina; Juanita Bedsaul of Galax, Virginia; Katherine and David Haulsey of Hillsville, Virginia; Barbara and Wesley McKinney of Ivanhoe, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law Clarence and Carolyn Jones of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Garry Adams and Ron Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery with Military Rites by the Grayson VFW Post 7726. The family will receive friends Friday from 12 noon until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
